Spyware/adware free download games?

I love playing downloadable computer games. However, I recently had trouble with all the spyware and adware that had corrupted my computer. Anyone have suggestions for spyware free games sites? I had been using Yahoo and MSN game sites when the trouble began.

Reply:First of all, I dont think you should trust any website when it comes to adware or spyware. Download a program that can check for it and get rid of it (I use Spybot - Search and Destroy). Make sure that when you download the game before running it on your computer you scan it with an antivirus software (eg. AVG or Sophos). You should be safe from any adware, spyware, or virus with these. Happy playing =)

Reply:I use both Yahoo and MSN gaming sites too but have had a lot of spyware problems too. I didn't want to stop gaming so instead I used a spyware remover to fix my computer:

Now I continue to game on Yahoo and MSN! But because of the spyware software, I don't have the spyware issues. It's the best of both worlds. Keep gaming!

Reply:Yes. Your trouble is with your operating system. Get rid of Windows, and get a good open source operating system such as www.kubuntu.org
