Any good free online games lately?

Im looking for a good game online, preferably an mmorpg.. you know,something to keep me busy. I tried lots of games, but really havent found something i could continue doing.

I love good graphics... I love free game...=P...I love midevil/fantasy types. You know. Swords, not guns. I love not being bothered by noobs or scammers (The only problem i had with runescape)

Although you will never avoid noobs in any games, this is a free game and there is much fun to be had with all the events and everything.


You can get it at www.mapleglobal.com I believe or just google it.


Although I have quit and sold my account, many of my friends are still hooked and it has become very popular over in the states.


It's simple but it definitely grows on you. It's especially fun to play with your friends.

Reply:I know you said that graphics are somewhatimportant to you, but you should really try out MUDs. They are free, and really a lot of fun. I play on a MUD called Purple Dragon. It’s got races like dragons, elves, faeries, wyverns, etc. It’s a really good game to lose yourself in or just to enjoy some chat with fellow players. I have played this game since I was 9.. so well over 10 years! And still haven’t been bored with it. You can develop your character any way you want, build houses, explore different areas, etc. It’s a text-based game, but you should really oconsider at least checking it out. It’s 100% free.

Reply:Right now my favourite free MMORPG is a browser based one (so you don't even have to download it). See the link below, it's FallenSword. I like this game cause of it's guild system that stimulates interaction, and the lottery and the auction mechanisms that are also very original.


I'll also give you a link for the "List of free MMORPGs" on wikipedia, where you can see the available games out there. Some of the games are really good (Anarchy Online, Maple Story, Flyff...). Take a look at the websites and check the screenshots, maybe you'll find some that interest you.

Reply:IMO, Maple Story just another average grindfest mmorpg, especially the noob gameplay and dumb quest





I might suggest you play Scions of fate or 9 Dragon. Nice graphics, free to play, fantasy type, swords. =)
