Free turn based strategy games?

I got a game on my cell phone called military madness. It's probably from the 80's or early 90's just retooled for mobile. although it's not very high tech I enjoy the turn based strategy game. Just wondering if anyone has any good sites with free games of a similar style.





I also Loved the game Shining Force for Genesis back in the day and I love the board game risk.





Any flash turn based strategy or adventure games out there? I know there are, but I'm looking for some good ones.

Free turn based strategy games?
I'm playing Earth2025 online. But it is, like I said, online and it is text-based. It is turn based though.

Reply:Dragonlords! is a fun turn-based fantasy wargame. You play along with other players across the globe. The only downside is that the game moves at a slow rate (about one turn per week). You can contact your fellow players to discuss strategy and alliances. Despite the slow turn around, the game is very enjoyable.
